Do you like vegetables?
Freddy and the veggies is a cute story written to help my young listeners love their vegetables.
We all have different strategies for encouraging our children to eat vegetables. It can be hard to eat them sometimes.
Even adults have a hard time sometimes too.
Your child will love this little story. Who knows they may soon become friends to those veggie and make them their superheroes?
Freddy, like many kids, loved his sweet friends and will never give his vegetables a chance.
Fair enough!
Who wants to eat vegetables when they can have candy pie or banana loaf?
Then, something happened.
His sweet friends came to the rescue but they were not strong enough. Who helped Freddy? Those horrible vegetables!
Find out how by listening to the story.
For your activity, why not draw pictures of Freddy?
You are the one in charge. So imagine Freddy to look like anything you like.
Draw pictures of your favourite vegetables and if you can write, tell me what you like about the story. Or what you did not like.
